Jony Ive

In a world where things are changing faster than ever before and design principles are not only guiding the creation of products, but the creation of companies—it is coming more and more into focus that somebody like Jonathan Ive is in line to be the successor to Steve Jobs. I usually go on gut feelings. This is one of those feelings I've had for quite sometime now. With Steve's health in question, this seems like a logical step to be announced sometime in the not so distant future. This may seem like an illogical choice to many, but lets remember that this is Apple and things have always been very unconventional. A change like this would not only raise some eyebrows, but would catapult design to new levels in business.

All we can do is wait and see.
